POSITION SUMMARY:

StatEasy is looking to hire a motivated Software Engineer seeking a rewarding career solving complex problems in sports technology.  The primary responsibilities of this position are to consistently develop high quality solutions that exceed our customer's expectations while expanding the capabilities of the StatEasy platform.  The Software Engineer will interact with customers on a weekly basis, so interpersonal skills are a must.  A familiarity with sports is a plus. coaching experience is a big plus.  The StatEasy platform gathers and reports on large amounts of data while also distributing large video files to clients - a willingness to tackle large problems at scale is a must.

• Programming in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL
• Object Orientated programming (prior experience required)
• Ability to function as a designer, developer, tester and to some degree, an analyst
• Must exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and focus on the delivery of objectives
• Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives

Education / Experience:

• Bachelors Degree or business experience in related field
• While not required, other desirable skill sets include familiarity with BitTorrent and various video codecs at a deep level
